Template Workflows
Template workflows are streamlined processes associated with each form that your project users can generate from your templates. These workflows enable you to define structured actions and steps for form handling and approval within ProjectDeck.
To access and manage workflows for your templates, navigate to the “Workflow” tab within the Template Designer, as depicted in the image below.
Exciting News! In early 2024, ProjectDeck is introducing a range of new workflows, including sign, notify, approve, and link workflows. While we’re eagerly awaiting these enhancements, you can start exploring the capabilities of workflows using the Review Workflow.
Review Workflow
Creating a review workflow is straightforward. Follow these steps:
- Click on Add a workflow (1), which opens the control displayed in the image below.
- Give your workflow a descriptive name (2) and click the Create button (3). Alternatively, click Cancel to abort the action without any changes.
Once you’ve created a review workflow, it becomes part of your workflow canvas (4), as shown in the image below.
To add additional review workflows, simply click the + button beneath your most recent workflow. This allows you to establish multiple review processes tailored to your project’s needs.
The workflow does not require any further configuration to enable. Your project users will now have the capability to request reviews from any ProjectDeck team member within your subscription, including admins and regular project users.
For more detailed information on how the review workflow functions from the Project user’s perspective, please refer to the Form Workflows help page, which offers insights into the practical use of these workflows for managing and streamlining your project tasks.
