Permissions: Project Managers and Project Members can create and manage forms within their own projects.

Forms are a fundamental concept within ProjectDeck, serving as the backbone of your project management processes. They allow project users to efficiently create, modify, and review essential documents and data.

Accessing Forms

To access forms, you can navigate to any Project Page. The Project Page provides an organised overview of your available forms, making it easy to select and interact with the desired form. You can also use powerful tools for managing forms, including searching, filtering, sorting, and grouping.

Permissions: All Admin roles have global read-only access to all projects and forms. Project Reader roles have read-only access to the forms on the projects to which they are assigned. Project Manager and Project Member roles can create and edit all forms on the projects to which they are assigned.

The Form Page offers a comprehensive view of the form’s content, allowing users to read and make necessary edits:

Within the Form Page, users can explore three primary tabs:

  1. Form Components: This tab contains the primary form fields.
  2. Form Properties: This tab contains the meta-data related to the form.
  3. Form Workflow: This tab contained the workflows, such as reviews and approvals.

Other Form Features

ProjectDeck enhances the form experience with additional features and functionalities:

  • Form Versioning: Forms are associated with versioning, allowing project users to easily identify the specific version they are working with, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Chat Integration (1): Forms include a chat feature, enabling project users to communicate and collaborate on each form, facilitating completion and associated management processes. Each form has its dedicated chat channel, accessible through the Chat Bubble icon in the top left of the form page.
  • Export to PDF (2): Forms can be exported from the system and saved in PDF format, offering a convenient way to archive or share form data. This feature is accessible by clicking on the PDF Logo in the top left corner of the form page.
  • Navigation Control (3): For longer forms, users can efficiently navigate through sections by clicking on the Hamburger Menu in the top left of the form page. This reveals a list of all form headings, enabling users to swiftly access specific sections of the form.
